We Stand With Our South Asian Community
For 20 years, our South Asian community in Texas has supported us, stood by us, and continually trusted us to provide them with the kind of energy service they deserve.
Now in the face of the devastating floods that have hit Pakistan, it’s our turn to stand with them.
After months of unprecedented rainfall, millions of people, including the families and friends of our South Asian community, have been devastated and displaced by the catastrophic effects of flash flooding throughout their country. They’ve lost their homes. Crops and food sources have been destroyed. Roads, bridges, and power stations have been damaged.
As of September 5th, these monsoons have left over 633,091 people in shelters and caused the death of over 1400 people.
Today, Pakistan needs us. Our South Asian community needs us. So, we’ve partnered with Helping Hand For Relief And Development (HHRD) to help them rebuild. From now until October 31, 2022, we’ve pledged to donate a portion of every new enrollment to immediate flood relief efforts.
But we can’t do it alone. We need your support in our effort to help them rebuild.
